Oriental’s History Museum – Explore the history of Oriental and the surrounding area. The museum features a dugout canoe, the porthole from the steamship “Oriental” – for which the town was named – and other local artifacts.. The Museum also hosts monthly historical lectures, and has an extensive walking tour of the area. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays year round.
