Vancouver Marina Limited

Vancouver Marina was constructed in 1965, and opened for business in 1967. The first phase of construction was built at 8211 River Rd in front of what now is Galleon Marine (in those days, the building was home to Richmond Boat & Yacht Sales downstairs, and the famous Surf Club upstairs).A few years later, we built the second phase of the marina on the north side of the Middle Arm Bridge in front of what once was a Boeing Aircraft seaplane production plant built in the late 1920’s. The building was converted into an office/ restaurant building which is now home to The Boathouse Restaurant and Marine Retailer, West Marine.
