Pier 76 Marina is proudly Westbrook, Connecticut’s first marina, established over 65 years ago in 1948. The marina is nestled on the west bank of the Patchogue River, just north of the Boston Post Road. Most boaters know the location by the “Singing Bridge,” a name given to the steel bridge that rests over the Patchogue River. The strictly powerboat facility is home fantastic amenities including boat servicing delivered by highly trained service technicians. During your stay, you will have access to clean and private showering and restroom facilities. There is a beautiful picnic area overlooking the water, perfect for a relaxing hideaway to catch up on a good book. Jack’s Bait and Tackle is on the property as well, perfect for grabbing the fishing necessities before heading out for a successful day on the water. Don’t forget to check out the world-record striped bass hanging in the tackle shop. It was caught in August 2011 in Connecticut waters and weighed in at 81.88 pounds! For delicious meals during your stay, you must try <a href=”http://www.billsseafood.com”target=”Bills Seafood”>Bill’s Seafood</a>! It is located right next door to the marina and just steps away from your slip. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner service, as well as an amazing Happy Hour from 4-6pm every Monday through Friday. You can choose to sit indoors, or enjoy outdoor seating on the deck. The menu is made up of original seafood items, including whole lobsters, a raw bar and great appetizers for sharing. Not a seafood lover? That’s okay! There is also a great selection of landfare options. In addition to great food, Bill’s provides live entertainment 6 days a week. This will make for a fun summer night with friends and family.
