Parks Marina is the only marina located on this tranquil sea-fairing island. Many of the fewer than 800 residents are decendants of the original settlers. About 95% of the islanders still depend on the sea for their livelihood, in fact this is the Soft Crab Capital of the world! There no amusement parks or movie theaters and the only bars you will find are made of sand. The unique accent and “old world” way of life is what drawers curious visitors to the island every year!
