Middle Bass Island Yacht Club is located on Middle Bass Island in Lake Erie near the north coast of Ohio. Founded in 1989 by a group of Lake Erie boaters who frequented the islands of the western basin, Middle Bass Island Yacht Club has grown to over 380 members. The Club is situated on Middle Bass Island within the State Park Marina facility. MBIYC leases its property from the State of Ohio. The club facilities include a clubhouse and docks for seasonal and guests boaters. A dockmaster and dockhands are employed by the club to aid all members and guests with dock assignment and docking. A club dock policy is in effect, enforced by the dockmaster. Dockage is available to visitors from affiliated clubs on a reciprocal basis. MBIYC is a member of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association and the Greater Cleveland Boating Association.
