The City of Tampa operates two marinas as well as transient slips at the Tampa Convention Center. The largest marina is the Marjorie Park Yacht Basin located on Davis Islands. Situated at the mouth of the Hillsborough River, Davis Islands is a mix or residential and retail and located only minutes from downtown Tampa. Marjorie Park Yacht Basin is open 365 days a year and offers fuel sales, showers, restrooms, weather station, pump out station, and monthly and transient slips. The marina is only a block from Davis Islands business district, which includes convenience stores, banks, laundry mat and several restaurants.
