Maine Maritime Museum is located on a beautiful 20 acre campus on the banks of the Kennebec River in Bath, Maine. Visitors can explore Museum galleries; stroll through the only intact historic US shipyard to see how great wooden ships were built; learn about Maine’s lobstering industry; take a tour of neighboring Bath Iron Works or a scenic lighthouse cruise; tour a Victorian-era home and view the towering sculptural evocation of the schooner Wyoming. Open daily 9:30am to 5pn except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
