Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club

ABYC is a private, working sailing club located in Ashbridge’s Bay on Lake Ontario, at the foot of Coxwell Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. They welcome sailors from all walks of life, from their pre-teens to their nineties. ABYC was formed in 1932. They have very active racing and cruising programs as well as an excellent sailing school for children and adults. They have a fixed mark course on Lake Ontario for organized racing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during sailing season for both PHRF fleets (JAM and spinnaker) and one-design fleets. Wednesday evenings are devoted to dinghy racing. They also host and support local, national, and international regettas and sponsor weekend cruises to various other clubs on the Lake with which they enjoy reciprocal privileges.
