Marina Updates

  • Harbour Isle Beach Club in Bradenton, Fla. will be opening this summer. This 23,000- square-foot club is part of a 220-acre resort home community located directly on the Anna Maria Sound across from Anna Maria Island. The beach club will feature a fitness center, Sky Bar Lounge, Cabana Bar, swimming pool, yoga lawn and beach. In 2016, Harbour Isle plans on opening Harbour Isle Marina with wet and dry storage, restaurants and a ship store.
  • North Cove Marina located on the Hudson River in New York City announced that it will now be operated by IGY Marinas. IGY Marinas and Brookfield Property Partners won a bid for 10-year lease of the marina and will begin a variety of structural upgrades to the facility. This includes additional lighting, waterfront seating, new signs, landscaping and operating a sailing program from the marina location.
  • Charlestown Marina in Boston, Mass., recently opened in May 2015 servicing vessels up to 400 feet. The marina is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard and will accept both transient and seasonal boaters. Onsite is Pier 6 Restaurant, security staff and cameras, shower and restroom facilities, laundry, grilling stations and free WiFi. The marina features a 900-foot hybrid steel/concrete breakwater system designed to reduce wake from the harbor.
