Marina Updates
- Marina Bay Marina Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is scheduled to open Tryp Maritime by Wyndham Hotels in March 2016. The ground breaking began in February of this year. This new hotel will offer a signature breakfast bar, tapas bar and lounge, movie theater, business conference center, spa pool with cabanas and zen garden. Marinalife Members are also offered a 10% discount on their stay at the hotel.
- The Club at Admiral Cove Marina located in Jupiter, Florida, is starting a $6 million renovation May 1, 2015 that will be completed in October of this year. Renovations include new state-of-the-art floating docks and room for 150 boats. The first-class marina can accommodate vessels up to 170 feet with onsite amenities including high-speed fuel dock, a spa and salon, fitness center, five onsite restaurants and a marina store.
- Resort World Bimini, located on North Bimini Island in the Bahamas, just 50 miles off the South Florida coast, is in the process of building a five-story marina hotel. The marina hotel, part of the 750-acre Resorts World Bimini property, will feature 305 rooms, a rooftop pool with sweeping ocean and bay views, a state-of-the-art gym and full-service spa. Resorts World Bimini is the largest marina complex in the Bahamas, with two marinas — Fisherman’s Village Marina (136 slips) and the Mega Yacht Marina (94 slips) — conveniently located at the center of resort activity.
