As the longest-established recreational marina in Boston Harbor, Constitution Marina has grown from an initially humble facility capable of hosting nine boats to a flourishing destination with 300 slips and the capacity to handle vessels up to 170 feet. Located near the mouth of the Charles River in the heart of Boston’s historic North End, Constitution is the ideal spot from which to explore all that Beantown has to offer.

Described by owner Tom Cox as “an oasis in the city,” Constitution indeed sets itself apart with its knock-out location and fantastic amenities. The on-site swimming pool, expansive patio area with well-maintained grills, modern laundry and restroom facilities, and reliable Wi-Fi are just some of the things that keep loyal transient guests coming back again and again.

There’s also a unique live-aboard aspect to the marina that gives it the feeling of a true community. Because it is in a protected cove that experiences little to no wake, it’s an ideal location for long-term stays. In fact, the live-aboard experience at Constitution proved so popular that they launched their Bed and Breakfast Afloat program, which offers overnight boat lodging for guests without their own vessel.

Due to its ambiance, creature comforts and stunning waterfront views, Constitution is a perennially popular option for cruisers in the know. It also happens to be a dynamite place to watch the Fourth of July fireworks over Boston Harbor. Visitors hoping to delve into all the rich experiences that the city has to offer will not be disappointed. The legendary TD Garden, home to the NBA’s Celtics and the premier sports and entertainment arena in New England, is just a short distance from Constitution, and stand-out restaurants in
the surrounding area abound. One notable eatery adjacent to the marina is Warren Tavern, which is the oldest continually operating tavern in Massachusetts (George Washington and Paul Revere both raised
their tankards here) and offers 20 percent off fare to Constitution Marina guests.

What’s more, Constitution is set along Boston’s iconic Freedom Trail, a 2 1/2-mile route that highlights 16 historic sites significant to the American Revolution, from churches and museums to government buildings and parks. Cruisers in search of dockage and an authentic experience in historic Boston need look no further than Constitution Marina.

Marinalife members receive 15% off transient dockage for the first 2 nights at Constitution Marina.
