Located on Florida’s Gold Coast at MM 21, The Club at Admirals Cove Marina is a beautifully manicured Golf and Country Club just two miles south of the Jupiter Inlet. It is the perfect spot for a permanent residence or a brief stay for boaters traveling along the ICW.
John D. McArthur, a dairy farmer during the 1960s, developed the community of Admirals Cove. Legend has it that after a long, hard day’s work, McArthur would turn to digging out deep canals to continue making his vision for the community come to life. Frankel Enterprises later purchased the property, and, in 1987, opened the model homes, golf course, marina and clubhouse. Today, the Club at Admirals Cove is a member-owned community with 900 residences, 45-holes of Championship Golf, five-star dining and a well-protected marina.
The Marina recently went through a rebuild, and installed TechnoMarine floating docks last year. Accommodating vessels up to 160 feet, the Marina offers transient dockage on a transient or annual basis. Guests have access to the entire Admirals Cove experience. “Our location makes the club unique,” says Clyde Rawls, Harbormaster and Director of Marina Operations. “From our deep-water canals, which are protected from storm surge, to our location on the ICW near the inlet, our gated community, which is patrolled on boat and by land, is the perfect place to live.”
Visiting boaters can easily re-provision at the on-site general store, which sells gourmet food, cheeses, meats, wines and baked goods, along with ship store items. And you will not be bored by the sheer amount of activities and amenities offered at the club. There are three nine-hole golf courses plus an 18-hole course, all with pristinely manicure lawns. The community has a fitness center with exercise classes daily, the Bluewater Spa & Salon, tennis courts, and physical therapy facilities. “Everything is world-class, from our amenities to our staff and management,” says Theresa Reineman, membership manager. “Our members are very friendly, active and always ready for the next club event or activity.”
When it’s time to grab a bite to eat, there are options for every palate. BlÜ offers fine dining with breathtaking views of the waterway; Fairways Bistro is on the newly renovated Golf Village courses and has traditional American fare; Marina Café is designated for casual waterfront dining’ and two cafés directly on the golf courses offer fresh sandwiches, soups and smoothies to go!
If you’re anywhere near Jupiter this winter season, be sure to make a stop at Admirals Cove Marina. You’ll be so glad you did.
